Mr. Haynes is one of the few real estate brokers licensed in Virginia and West Virginia who hold the professional designation of ACCREDITED LAND CONSULTANT.
A land broker for over 50 years, he is a professional in all aspects of farm and land transactions, with an emphasis on subdivision and land development.
A business school graduate of George Washington University, he holds the coveted title of VIRGINIA LAND SPECIALIST, as well as being a prominent speaker, teacher, author and editor on land related subjects, including authorship of the nationally-known real estate investment books, HOW YOU CAN GROW RICH THROUGH RURAL LAND – Starting from Scratch and HOW I TURNED $50 INTO 5 MILLION – Part Time.
His other literary works include the novels, THE Ideal ESTATE MAN and THE SADDLEBUM, two screenplays, and the self-help book, SCRIPT and FLAME — The Code Words to Wealth.
Mr. Haynes was the 1993 president of Virginia’s REALTORS® LAND INSTITUTE (RLI); 1993 Land Realtor® of the year; and the 1995 Regional Vice President for Regions III and IV of RLI, covering VA, WVA, MD, DE, D.C., KY, TN, NC and SC.
Other roles in his dynamic career include horse riding stable operator, camp ground owner, Branson show producer, radio show host, and country and western singer, with 7 recorded albums.
